Direct Interchange (Same Engine Family):
- 1975–1996 Jaguar XJS – 5.3L HE and 6.0L V12 engines are common donors. The HE and 6.0L versions differ in intake, electronics, and transmission.
- 1973–1992 Jaguar XJ12 / Daimler Double Six – These use the 5.3L HE V12, compatible with XJS HE engines. Earlier carbureted versions (pre-HE) are different.
